Neiman Young

executive coach in Corpus Christi

I am an executive coach, retired U.S. Army officer, and former municipal leader with more than two decades of experience leading in high-pressure environments. I spent 23 years in the Army, where I had the privilege of leading teams around the world, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. My military career culminated in commanding a Special Operations company in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Those experiences shaped how I think about leadership, resilience, and the importance of staying grounded under pressure.

After retiring in 2017, I transitioned into public sector leadership, where I worked in local government and later served as Assistant City Manager for Corpus Christi, Texas. In that role, I oversaw more than 900 employees and managed large operating and capital budgets, gaining a deeper understanding of leadership at scale.

Today, I focus on executive coaching and building a nonprofit dedicated to supporting senior leaders through self-care, health, and wellness. My work is deeply personal. I’ve experienced burnout myself, and that journey led me to help others lead with clarity, balance, and integrity.
