I graduated in May 2014 from Mount Holyoke College with a special major infusing science, theatre production and retail management and a thesis that analyzed "The Future of the Pop-up Retail Phenomenon." The day after I graduated, I jumped on the bus and came to New York City to discover opportunities in the niche realm of pop-up retail.
In July, I started an internship with the pop-up agency the Lionesque Group, solidifying my interest in making the activation of pop-up shops my career. This internship extended into a Fall independent contract, and I was able to assist in the production of over nine retailing experiences in New York City and the Hamptons.
