As a former bartender at Harvard Gardens, Nicholas “Nick” Konstadt draws on a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry. During this time, Nicholas Konstadt has worked with companies across the country, such as the New York-based Myriad Restaurant Group.

Initially serving as the purchasing manager of the group’s Tribeca Grill, he subsequently became the director of purchasing and back of house for the restaurant. In the role, Nick Konstadt was also responsible for contracted services, such as boilers and HVAC systems. Within the first six months of being promoted, he reduced food costs by five percent.

He was subsequently able to keep these costs down. Overseeing 15 employees, Nicholas Konstadt also reduce labor costs by 20 percent. In addition, he implemented several new programs, such as an improved system for tracking inventory.

At the same time he was implementing these measures, Mr. Konstadt maintained an A-rating for the restaurant from the New York City Department of Health.
