LaRondi Flowers

Revered LaRondi Meiko “Nicole” Flowers is a Baltimore native. Educated in the Baltimore County School system she continued her education to receive her MBA at Trinity College in 2004. Under the pastorate of her father Reverend Washington M. Flowers who is the Pastor & founder of the First New Life Baptist Church and the spiritual guidance of her mother First Lady Flowers. Her parents instilled in her as a child the importance of having a true relationship with the Master. The Flowers family has a rich history of ministry within the body of Christ. With three (3) uncles and one (1) aunt, Grandfather and father being pastors; along with a family of gospel musicians, psalmist and ministers it was unlikely that she would not desire a zeal for God’s Kingdom. Rev. Flowers has a diverse background; accepting her call to ministry she is a licensed Associate Minister under the Brown’s Memorial Baptist Church where Dr. R. Lee Johnson is pastor and the First New Life Baptist Church where her pastor is Rev. Washington M. Flowers. She serves faithfully to both ministries with the integrity of God our Father. She is also an organist and musical directress with a strong passion in the art of Praise and Worship. Rev. Flowers currently has served as the 1st Vice President for the Progressive Baptist Convention of Maryland, Inc. (having served previous years in the office of the President of Christian Education for PBCMD). She also serves as the Director for the Children’s Choir and an Instructor under the leadership of Dr. R. Lee Johnson. Minister Flowers, being an avid thinker and progressive in her pursuance of Kingdom building is an intercessor, counselor, lay speaker, organist, director and nationally recognized poet receiving honors for the “Best Poet of the Year Awards” for 2004 through 2007. In January of 2004, she founded Okiem, Inc., which specializes in Holistic Development for taking care of Body, Mind and Soul; care for the individual as well as the business professional in the areas of Motivational Speaking, Tax Preparing/Planning, Wealth Building Seminars and Health Wellness Seminars with local and statewide collaborative partnerships. OKIEM, INC develops a series of holistic seminars and camps centered on the body, mind and soul.
