Nima Binafard
Art Director and Web Developer in Los Angeles
I’m Nima Binafard, an entrepreneur and creative director based in Los Angeles, working across branding, product development, software engineering, design, digital strategy, and legal technology.
I like building things from the ground up. That can start with a name or an idea and grow into everything around it: the domain, trademark, brand identity, product, software, website, digital experience, positioning, and the way people ultimately experience it.
Over the years, I’ve worked across technology, e commerce, branding, growth, and business development. I helped build Uber’s offline driver acquisition operation in Los Angeles, training a 50 person team responsible for bringing more than 20,000 drivers onto the platform. I later built a 25 person digital agency working with companies ranging from startups to brands like Fashion Nova, Hot 8 Yoga, Umami Burger, and American Airlines.
I’m also the founder of Series J, a community driven events and philanthropy project that brings together branding, design, experiences, community building, and giving back.
Today, I spend much of my time developing my own brands, products, and ventures across technology, law, culture, community, and philanthropy.
What interests me most is building something as a whole. Not just a logo, a website, or a piece of software, but the entire world around an idea: what it is, how it works, how it looks and feels, how people discover it, and why they want to be part of it.
