Responsible for establishing a best in class travel program. As DGM - Corporate Travel, I follow strategic approach to travel, which includes the management and negotiations with all clients, day-today operation of the corporate travel program, as well as traveler safety & security. In addition, responsible for working closely with clients to assist metrics for management as well as communication of travel information across the company.Responsible to get each and every sales lead converted to potential client. Co-ordinate with sales team to provide all supportive material, prepare RFP (request for price), provide demo of our online and offline application(s) and further discuss on IT requirement, process-flow, operation part, implant desk set-up, back-up support, escalation matrix etc. Align closely with the business to understand travel spend and budget. Work closely with clients to deliver tools and resources to manage their travel expenses. Understand the travel industry and communicate and adjust the travel program to ensure the client is providing the best travel for travelers while still being cost effective. Manage booking tool which includes implementing new technology and or managing existing technology. Issue company-wide communications related to the travel policy and travel updates. Assist in travel policy revisions and enforcement and incorporate industry best-practices. Partner with internal business partners to manage policy, procurement, and relationship effectiveness of the Travel department. Maintain relationship with client monitoring monthly review feedback,contract compliance and provide process, technical and operational solution for ongoing issues.Consult with employees on travel needs, improvements, policy and saving opportunities.Manage compliance, report findings, and internal audits.Drive process efficiencies and expense management through accurate reporting, including travel spend.
