Noel’s ever-evolving work reflects the deep passion and technical mastery required of a truly great artist. Born in a family of artists, ballet was his first passion but drawing earned him a place in Havana's San Alejandro Academy. While dancing he designed sets and costumes for the companies he worked with. At age 30 Noel retired from Ballet giving painting his entire attention. Classical and Modern Masters influence him especially Tamara de Lempicka, the Master of Art Deco figurative Cubism. He has been commissioned by private and corporate collectors, such as Absolut Vodka, the Cities of Boston, Miami and Miami Beach. Some of these are; Two murals for Miami Beach’s Ritz Plaza Hotel, paintings for the Grove Isle Hotel and the fountain at its entrance, and large murals for San Diego's Paradise Point Resort. Argentinian author Alicia Borinsky selected two of Noel’s paintings for her book jackets. He also created a portrait for Eartha Kitt who became a friend and mentor. University of Miami also commissioned Noel to create the sets and costumes for the World Premier of National Ballet of Cuba Prima Ballerina Rosario Suarez, for her ballet "Cecilia Valdez”. Noel was also commissioned to create the painting for CNN Español Miami’s Premiere Gala. Noel was a member of the City of Miami Beach Fine Arts Board for five years.

DIFFA New York, Boston’s AIDS Action Committee, Absolut Models for the Homeless, Orlando’s Hope and Help, as well as Miami’s CAREResource; asked Noel to create paintings for their fund-raising events. As a result of his AIDS artistic contributions, Noel was also asked to create the painting for World renown Miami’s White Party, and the panel representing Miami on the National AIDS Quilt. His creations helped generate much needed funds for AIDS research and organizations Nationwide. Noel was also asked to create the Commemorative painting for First Night Miami Beach 2000 Millennium Celebration. The City of Miami Beach also selected Noel to design five Flamingos for their Art in Public Places, “Flamingo Project.” Fellow artist Romero Britto and Noel collaborated on five large format paintings, now on private collections. Another special collaboration with Uberto Gucci-Gucci family premiered in Florence, and later at Miami’s Art Basel Week. DK Modern exhibited Noel’s works next to Tamara de Lempicka masterpieces at Miami’s Red Dot during Art Basel week. Noel also participated in the prestigious International Art Exhibit at the Carrousel of the Louvre Museum, and his portrait of Fashion Icon Patricia Field is now in the permanent collection of the Nakamura-Keith Haring Museum in Japan. Noel has been featured three times on the “100 Contemporary Artists of the World” published by the European Library of Artists, as well as the “100 Artists of the Male Image” published by Schiffer Publishing, and "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today-Volume 4” by ES Publishing.

The Miami Beach Arts Trust gave Noel the “Theatre Visionary Award,” and the City of Miami Beach officially named November 17 as “Noel Suarez Day”. Noel was part of Oceania’s Artist in Residence Program for 14 years, expanding his international acclaim. He is recognized as one of the small number of artists whom Miami’s ascendency to the World’s cultural stage reflects in his career. His work is always evolving capturing the attention of the youthful art enthusiasts and educated collectors.
