Noel is the living embodiment of passion and talent required by all great artists, which is reflected in his ever-evolvingwork. He is recognized as one of a small number of artists whom Miami's ascendency to the world cultural stage is reflected in the lifetime of his career. His cubist style is an amalgam of structure and dreams, reality and mythology, the sensual and the divine. Collectively, the tapestry of his work creates an artistic uniqueness that is characteristic of all great artists. Born in a theatrical family Noel began his art career as a ballet dancer with the Ballet in Cuba with the famed Alonso’s. In the US he worked with Ballet Concerto, Dance Miami, Boston Ballet, and New England Dinosaur Dance Company until his retirement in 1986. A career as a painter bloomed as a result of his knowledge of stage and custom design, and of course movement. Classical Masters such as Da Vinci, Bernini, Caravaggio, Dali, Lempicka also influence his work, but Noel finds his own unique style to capture the viewer. He has been commissioned by private and corporate collections such as Absolut Vodka, the City of Miami Beach, UM, and AIDS organizations Nationwide. He has received worldwide recognition with profiles and features in numerous magazines, newspapers, television and films. The European Library of Artists selected him for their “100 Contemporary Artists of the World” editions from 2007 to 2010. Schiffer Publishing also features him in the first edition of the book “100 Artists of the Male Image”, and ES Publishing for "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today-Volume 4". Noel was invited to participate in the prestigious International Art Exhibit at the Carrousel of The Louvre Museum. He collaborated with fellow artist Romero Brito, and with Uberto Gucci/Gucci family creating “La Colaborazione”. He was commissioned by CNN in Español to create the painting for their official Miami’s Network Premiere. In the summer of 2013 Noel was asked to become part of Oceania’s Artist in Residence Program exhibiting his work around the World and does his workshops. Noel is a Miami Beach Pioneer and a major part of the Miami Art Scene. As a constant personal quest his work is always evolving, from techniques and mediums to subject matter, capturing the attention of youthful art enthusiasts and educated collectors.
