Born into a German Baptist family, raised in Northern British Columbia in the Pentecostal and Christian and Missionary Alliance tribes. Gaining professional experience along the way as a Construction Superintendent, Marine Engineer, and in the Casino Industry.

Luckily married to my best friend, Teresa, whom I love; our two daughters are away at University, enteringadulthood.

Completed a Doctorate in Semiotics and Future Studies, exploring the role and use of narrative in identity formation in 2014

Wrote “Fire, Water, and Wind: God’s Transformational Narrative: Learning from Narrative Psychology, Neuroscience, and Storytelling about Identity Formation, published in 2016.

Currently enjoying life as a Husband, Father, and Priest while serving as the Incumbent Priest of St. Peter’s, Okotoks in the Anglican tradition of the Christian faith.
