* What do you want to be when you "grow up" and why?
Simply put, I want to go to school for the rest of my life! More specifically, I want to be a math teacher (6th-12th grade). I have a great passion for mathematics, students, and learning. I want to use my passion to empower students to make goals, achieve their goals, and invest and enjoy their learning!
*What advice do you have for new Cougar parents?
Parents, welcome to WSU! I am so excited that you are embarking on this journey as a Coug Parent! I want to assure you that there are many, many resources here at Washington State University that your student will learn about and people they will meet to help make them successful in their college career!
My best words of advice would have to be: Students make mistakes. Your young adult may need you at times, they may need space at times - I urge you to support them in their endeavors and choices while at the same time letting them grow up into the wonderful individuals they will become! Their experience here at WSU is one of a kind - as is the experience you will have watching them grow.
*What is your fondest WSU memory thus far?
My fondest WSU memory to date has to be the 2012 Apple Cup! I was privilieged to watch this game with my younger brother, my mom, and friends! The excitement that filled the stadium as the Cougs came back from an 18 point deficit to defeat the rival Huskies can not be put into accurate words! It was truly a moment when Cougs on the team, in the stands, and across the world rallied together to cheer on our school while we were losing all the way through the win! GO COUGS!
*Favorite Campus Spot:
The main floor of Holland/Terrel Library, by the windows, overlooking the football stadium and practice fields. It is quiet and peaceful, especially during vibrant sunsets!
*Favorite Singer:
Carrie Underwood

"The sun is shining, the tank is clean, and we are gonna get out of...the tank is clean...THE TANK IS CLEAN!!"
