Omari Betts

A resident of Temple Hills, MD, Omari Betts graduated from Morgan State University, obtaining a degree in finance in 2014. He spent his collegiate years working as a caddy, allowing him to avoid incurring debts from college loans. He had alsoparticipated in the Upward Bound program at Maryland University college park and the First Tee youth program at Langston GolfCourse in Washington, D.C.

His passion for both golf and youth mentorship led him back to the First Tee program. He now spends part of his free time volunteering for the program, where he mentors underprivileged young people by sharing his experiences and guiding themthrough the fundamentals of golf.
