Hello, I’m Omid R. Marusi — an independent filmmaker and writer from Mashhad, Iran, deeply passionate about storytelling and cinematic world-building.

Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of creating epic, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and horror films. For years, financial limits and lack of access to professional tools kept me from realizing those dreams. But with the rise of creative AI, I finally found a path forward — turning vision into reality using only a smartphone, notebook, and imagination.

🎥 From the Ground Up
As a teenager, I supported my mother and myself by selling goods on the street. Later, serious health challenges like gout and kidney stones forced me to leave multiple jobs. Still, I never gave up on creating. My debut short film, CORPORATION, was made entirely with limited resources and unlimited passion.

Although I was often dismissed, ridiculed, or told I’d never succeed — even hearing harsh words about my mother for supporting me — I kept pushing forward, inspired by her faith in me and my unwavering belief in storytelling.

🔧 True Allies
My journey wouldn’t be possible without those who believed in me. Mehdi Choupanian, a close friend, sponsored my access to essential AI tools. To honor him, I created a character named Salvador Rogman for the sequel Revolution of X, voiced by Mehdi himself.

I also received heartfelt encouragement from Josh “Brother” Watson — a BKFC pro fighter from Nevada — who supported me early on. I created the character Mike Gibbons in gratitude.

🎞️ Vision & Recognition
My films aim to give voice to the unheard and spotlight untold struggles through a unique blend of human emotion and AI-driven creativity. In 2025, Revolution of X was officially selected by the Lift-Off Filmmaker Sessions Vol. 7 (UK) — a huge milestone for my solo filmmaking path.

Platforms like FilmFreeway have empowered creators like me to reach global stages despite financial and geographical barriers.

🧭 Purpose
I create for those who are silenced, overlooked, or doubted — because I’ve lived that reality. As long as I can write or record, I’ll keep building meaningful stories that matter.
