I am Torbjørn C. Pedersen (Thor), a Danish citizen with a different and new concept of how to visit 203 countries. I have made it my mission to do it all WITHOUT FLYING and I am doing it NOW!

An ex UN peacekeeper, I have an insight and awareness of what lies ahead, but, I have the further incentive for this journey by traveling as Goodwill Ambassador for the Danish Red Cross. It is a challenge that I believe will capture the imagination of children of all ages, especially as it is a modern day adventure they can follow day-by-day.

I will attempt to maintain a schedule of allowing an average of 7 days between countries; amounting to me being about 4 years away from home.

The must be observed rules of this challenging journey, are simple, but will be stringently applied:

1) A minimum of 24 hours in each country.

2) Any form of flight is prohibited

3) No return, in any way, to my home country until the venture is concluded.

Any contravention of the foregoing rules will immediately render this venture null and void.
