As a subsidiary of OAKZ Media, Open Water Studios is the documentary and special series arm of OAKZ media but they also offer a diverse suite of back-end services to other production companies. Both production companies and networks have turned to the firm to provide non-creative work for live, unscripted, and scripted television productions and the entities that produce them. For these entities, Open Water Studios stands ready to fulfill a variety of functions, from the budgeting of a specific project to the creation of a full organizational infrastructure. Open Water Studios has a new slate of documentary films and series in Production that will be released in Q4 of 2018.

The company operates from Orlando under the leadership of owners John and Kimberly Ehrhard. Mr. Ehrhard leads as president of OAKZ Media and has played a key role in many of its well-known efforts, including the VH1 production Hogan Knows Best. The founder of the Pink Sneakers subsidiary, Mrs. Ehrhard draws on similarly diverse experience in news, reality, and documentary video production, having worked with such networks as MTV and Bravo.

In their leadership of Open Water Studios, the Ehrhards leverage their strong experience of making compelling programs to focus on a new slate of thought provoking documentaries that are slated to launch next year.
