Osami (修身) SAKATA (坂田)
Executive Managing Director - JASRI in Japan
Osami SAKATA, 坂田修身, サカタオサミ, Osami Sakata, and SAKATA Osami are different forms of the same name. Osami (修身) is my given name, and Sakata (坂田) is my family name.
Osami SAKATA is a co-author and one of the corresponding authors of the landmark MOF-on-MOF paper “Heterogeneously Hybridized Porous Coordination Polymer Crystals: Fabrication of Heterometallic Core–Shell Single Crystals with an In-Plane Rotational Epitaxial Relationship,” Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2009, 48, 1766–1770, DOI: 10.1002/anie.200804836. This paper is cited as Reference 79 in the Scientific Background to the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2025.
