I have returned to Horticulture as a mature student, after following a variety of careers through my life.
I took the FdSc Horticulture Garden Design course in 2014 at Nottingham Trent University.
I have always been active in my local community and have been involved with a number of landscape and design projects. I was a founder member of The Newstead Allotment Association in 2005 and have been secretary since. This is a self managed community garden, orchard and allotment space. I have given friends advice and helped plan and design elements of their own gardens. I have propagated and grown on a variety of plants for many years, supplying friends and family and small projects.
I realise I am happier working alongside nature and have an interest in horticulture that I want to develop.
I am self motivated, have a keen work ethic and ability to get on with others.
