Patrick Harrington

My name is Patrick Harrington and I specialize in film and television production. I'm from Jacksonville, Florida.

I volunteer my talents to my church as a producer and put together inspirational human interest stories for incmedia.org.

I graduated high school at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in 2006. I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2009 with an Associates Degree in communication, and from Full Sail University in 2011, studying film. I love to edit video for all types of things, be it for news or short films. I am training in the editing department at my job at WAWS/WTEV in Jacksonville, FL, where I am currently a floor director for the afternoon and evening news broadcasts.

I've traveled to many places throughout my young life. I've lived in Japan for 3 years, where I began my love for video production as a AV "nerd" at my high school. I interned for a summer at the naval base's public relations office, where they gave me free reign to produce news stories for their nightly news.

I am aspiring also to have a career in episodic television. I write screenplays and hope to start sending some of my work out and work long-term for a show out in California.

When I'm not producing and editing, I am enjoying the simpler things. I love football and root for my home team: the Jacksonville Jaguars. I like traveling and enjoy seeing new parts of the country and revisiting enjoyable places I've been to. I enjoy reading. Camping is a hobby I would like to indulge in more. I always like learning; I hope to never stop in that process.
