I moved back to Chicago in January 2011 after a six-year stretch in beautiful, sunny California where I worked as a public servant in the City Manager's Communications Office for the City of San José, CA. Most Chicagoans think I’m crazy for returning, but there is something about this city that always draws me in – the food, the energy, the culture, and the people. More importantly, I recognized that Chicago is one of the best cities to practice PR, which is why I earned my M.A. in Public Relations & Advertising from DePaul University.
