Pablo Fonseca

Over his 20 years of service in the private and public spheres, Pablo Fonseca has acted as governmental administrator, legal aide, campaign manager, and business consultant. Mr. Fonseca is presently a Managing Partner with the firms of Fonseca Consulting Group, LLC, and Newark Strategy Group, LLC. Based in Newark, New Jersey, both organizations are dedicated to helping clients find success in their professional fields. Services involve connecting clients with experts in a wide variety of areas, including business and governmental management, legislative affairs, environmental and land use assessments, marketing, public relations, and campaign strategy.

Prior to his work with the Fonseca Consulting Group and the Newark Strategy Group, Pablo Fonseca was Chief of Staff for Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker. As Chief of Staff, Mr. Fonseca managed a team of 50, which included Department Directors and other senior management. Mr. Fonseca had previously served as Cory Booker’s mayoral Campaign Manager, his Legislative Aide, and the Marketing Director for the firm of Booker, Rabinowitz, Trenk, Lubetkin, Tully, DiPasquale, & Webster, PC, a legal service provider in which Cory Booker was a partner.

A graduate of St. John’s University in New York City with a concentration in criminal justice, Pablo Fonseca got his start in government management as a Chief Code Enforcement Officer with the City of Newark. Overseeing the work of more than 70 inspectors, he was responsible for the enforcement of all housing, zoning, and sanitation restrictions and licensing. Mr. Fonseca was named Leadership Newark Fellow for the Class of 2002 and received the Los Condor de los Andes in 2007. He has also served as Trustee for the Newark Downtown Core Redevelopment Corporation. When he is not working, Pablo Fonseca enjoys collecting sports and war memorabilia.
