I am a wife, mother and grandmother and am very proud of these titles. I dabble in crafts such as embroidery, knitting, sewing, patchwork and scrapbooking. I love words and enjoy reading magazines, books and poetry. Figures and spreadsheets terrify me. Gardening is fulfilling when it is not hot and windy. Cooking, washing and ironing are necessary evils which I try to tolerate with good grace. I adore animals because they are loving, tolerant, non-judgemental and always there for you. Crumpet cat is a special part of our lives and the inspiration for my blog.
