He has completed 2 marathons, but now focuses on shorter distances while introducing his older daughters to running. He also enjoy camping, hiking, and reading about history, church growth, leadership, classic novels, and biographies. His wife Amy is a gifted Bible teacher, and leads an outreach-oriented small group at a local home each week. Currently she is working on a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University.
James has served as an Associate Pastor at three of the largest churches in Texas. He also planted a church that reached out to unchurched young families. James now serves as Family Pastor in an East Texas church.
James believes that any one person can make a difference in their world by choosing to live courageously, love generously, and lead passionately. All it takes is someone bold enough to follow Jesus and lead others.
