Relationship not religion!

Chosen One was birth from personal struggles with identity and knowing who you are in God. Based on the scripture, 1 Peter 2:9, Chosen One has been a vision since Sharenda was a teen.

"I didn't understand why this particular passage of scripture held so much meaning to me. I am assured that it helped me deal with the identity crisis I was in the midst of as a child and even into adulthood."

After graduating from Ashville High School in 2000 with honors, Sharenda attended the University of Alabama and in 2005 completed the Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Political Science programs respectively.

In 2001 she heard the call into the ministry of the faith according to Ephesians 4:11-12. Some nine years later she responded to the call upon her life, ministering and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

"The bible states, many are called but only a few are chosen. My desire is to do the work and the will of God. I love to see lives changed by the words of God. He has given me a special gift of speech, not just for the pulpit but among people. My prayer is not just to be a pulpit preacher but a messenger, taking the word to those who can't come into the four walls of the church."

Now Generation and Chosen1 has hosted several conferences, fellowship services and outreach ministries that have led to life altering experiences for those in attendance.

Under the Now Generation Ministry a variety of ministries have been established. More recently, NGM extended its brand to include Chosen Communications. The services offered include; publicist, ghost writing, editing, and event planning.

Born in Etowah County and raised in Ashville, Alabama where Sharenda attended Greater Grace Church and served as the Church Business Administrator, Christian Education Leader, and Youth Pastor under the pastoral care of Elder Vincent Turner. She has a twin brother, Sharay, and is the youngest of five children. At age nine she received Christ with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

She now attends Church of the Harvest Fayette. Sharenda is an assistant to the Pastors as well as the Event Coordinator for Conquering Hell in High Heels.
