I am a teacher.
I hold a Master's of Education in Special Education (Emotional Handicaps) and I taught in both residential treatment and public school settings for sixteen years.
I am a pastry chef.
Self-taught and passionate about baking for years, I finally took the plunge and attended culinary school at Orlando Culinary Academy, a Le Cordon Bleu program. I have had the privilege of working in fine dining restaurants, holding positions of pastry cook, pastry sous chef and pastry chef.
I am a recipe developer.
I created and perfected many dishes during my time working in restaurants, including signature bread service and bar snacks.
Now, I take great joy in sharing my knowledge and passion with others and teaching solid techniques and methods on my blog, developing recipes from simple to rather spectacular.
