Pato Bichara is the CEO of Collective Academy, the company offering transformative learning experiences that fast-track the strategic & cultural transformation of global companies and scale-ups.
Pato has been recognized for his leadership as an Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Expansión 30 business promises in Mexico, among other awards.
In addition to his day-to-day as an entrepreneur, Pato is a partner in Xochi Ventures, a VC fund focused on accelerating disruptive companies in Latin America, and an active member of McKinsey & Company’s Global Consortium for Learning Innovation.
Previously, he was part of the Polymath Ventures team in Colombia, launching companies for Latin America’s emerging middle class, and part of IGNIA’s investment team, the largest Venture Capital fund in Mexico. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company Mexico, advising CPG and Financial Services companies, and at The Bridgespan Group in Boston, working with some of the world’s leading foundations.
Pato earned an MBA from Harvard Business School with the support of a Fulbright-García Robles Scholarship. He holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering with the highest honors from Georgia Tech and Monterrey Tech (ITESM). He believes in advancing Latin America’s economy by accelerating the development of its human talent and building innovative companies.
