Patricia Kihoro

I am a Kenyan based recording and performing artiste set on making her mark in the East African entertainment industry. Born 25 years ago in Nairobi, Kenya, I have begun to distinguish myself as an emerging talent in various entertainment spheres. I am slowly making her presence known in the singing, acting and radio fraternities in Kenya. I am young, impressionable, constantly evolving, and open-minded, and have delved into various fields, and excelled. As a singer, I have been providing my vocals to various artists and advertising jingles for years, but my most memorable appearances were on Tusker Project Fame 2009, the reality talent show that pits various talented, singing contestants from 5 Eastern African countries against each other. I managed to edge out thousands of hopefuls to emerge as a finalist. I have since shared numerous Kenyan stages with renowned musicians such as Just A Band, K.S.Mbugua, Aaron Rimbui, Harry Kimani as well as American Jazz great, Gerald Albright. As an actress, I began by acting in stage productions at the Kenya National Theatre, such as Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, as well as Malaika. I have also featured in various videos/shortfilms for select East African musicians such as Just A Band, Muthoni The Drummer Queen and most recently Sauti Sol. I also play a principal character “Pet” on the Mnet Production, “Changes”, which is currently in its second season on DSTV. I am a university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and now currently work as a Radio news anchor on One FM, splitting my time between various acting, singing and writing engagements. I have also recently began recording her debut album with various talented composers and writers such as Danson Kiundi, K.S. Mbugua and Bienaime Barasa.
