Peyton Patterson

Peyton Patterson, a highly regarded banking executive and the owner of Peyton Patterson Consulting, LLC, in New Canaan, Connecticut, has distinguished herself as an insightful and driven professional. She opened her consulting business after serving for two years as the president and CEO of the Bankwell Financial Group, which, under her leadership, became the fastest-growing bank in Fairfield County. In addition, Peyton Patterson facilitated the takeover of two other banks and a $50 million initial public offering (IPO) for Bankwell, which also experienced an increase in net income of more than 330 percent.

Peyton Patterson joined Bankwell Financial, then known as the BNC Financial Group, after serving in a similar role with NewAlliance Bancshares. There, she completed the largest IPO ever recorded in United States history. She led NewAlliance for close to 10 years, during which time she was named Community Banker of the Year and earned second-place ranking in US Banker magazine's list of the 25 leading women in banking nationwide.

Dedicated to sharing her expertise with the community, Peyton Patterson teaches at the university level and serves as a mentor to young women. She has also written for the Huffington Post, where she shared her advice for women seeking to secure executive positions.
