How did I get here? - Well I spent 19 Years working in the State Government - The Maritime Services Board (MSB to MSB'ers) - I worked my way up to Grade 6 Administration Manager in Newcastle (a big deal back then). I took a downgrade to move across to IT and become an Analyst Programmer Grade 3/5 - I thought there might be some legs in the IT industry. I started my own Software development house in 1991 - supporting small business Application development, originally focused around Clipper and DB2, then migrated to Microsoft based technologies VB/Office etc.. I Contracted to CBA in 1994 as a Developer, I moved into a team leader role, then Project Management, then Account Management when transitioned to EDS. 1998 I hired Justin Roche at EDS, In 1998 I Resigned from EDS - not Justin's influence of course.. In 1999 started working for iT&E exclusively supporting CommSec development. Became Lead Project Manager on the CommSec - ASX straight through processing project, a major highlight. 2001 Justin Roche hired me to work for Mercury Development Group, nee Mercury Solutions Centre, nee MSC Mobility (MSC to MSC'ers - see a pattern) over 17 years have held a bunch of roles including Account Executive (CBA), Professional Services Manager (MDG development days), Proj Manager, Service Delivery Manager, BDM, Sales Manager (various States - including 6 months in WA), National Sales Director, GM New Product Development and now, very proud and honoured to be leading a brilliant squad of Mobility Specialists.

Telstra saw the value of the business, and acquired MSC in 2017, now I’m last man standing from the the original 5 MSC’ers, and a Telstra man - leading Australia's greatest team of mobility technologists.

3 Things you probably don't know about me:

1975,1976,1977 Won 3 Junior Golf Club Championships, in 75 I beat the guy who had won the previous 4 in a row (Rosnay GC in Sydney - my names still up on the honors board somewhere)

1987/1988 - Designed and built our Family home from scratch - including architecture and drawing up of the plans myself (Manual in those days), doing my own Survey and banging in every nail.

Coached Junior Cricket and Football on and off from under 5's through to Under 18's.Coached 3 Senior Football teams for 2 Premierships.
