Phaitoon Sarujikamjorn

I was born and grew up in a middle class familty in Thailand, but now I reside in Long Beach, CA. I came to the US in 1996 to continue my graduate education in structural engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. It is one of the best school in the country especially in my field. I love UM and learn to experience a life of an international student living abroard.

Ann Arbor is where my life has changed again once more. I fell in love with a close friend and later on she became the love of my life, Anna. Through her, she helped me open my eyes to Social Justice, her work about anti-prejudice and biases, and understanding sterotypical thinking, and human relationship study. I began to understand people from different backgrounds. I develop my passion of connecting with new people, learning about them, and be open to new things in life, and enjoy building new relationships and friendships.

We moved to Long Beach in the year of 2000, and began my career at one of the best structural engineering firm in the US. I worked really hard trying to get ahead in my firm, and I have reached to a director position only in 9 years and reached VP position in 11 years. However, the life i thought when I climbed the corporate ladder to is not what I imagined it would be. I found myself with no time for families and friends, and no time for myself. I became stressfull and obsessed with work and ignoring personal life.

In 2010, my life has changed again. I realized that the most important thing in my life is TIME. I learn that most of us do not have LEVERAGE and what we've been taught is to trade our time for money. I stopped chasing for money, and began building my own business that later on became my most valuable asset that creates passive recurring income that gives me the freedom.

Now I am a business owner and an entreprenuer with an international internet business that grows in many countries. We love Salsa Dancing, and Travelling. We love hiking and camping in National Parks. Because of our business, we now have a freedom to travel the world and build business in the countries that we love, experiencing diverse cuisines, cultures, and learn new languages, and histories - a dream lifestyle.
