Phoebe Patterson

Phoebe Patterson, a recent graduate from the University of Bridgeport, graduated on May of 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in International Business with a concentration in Finance. Throughout the three years of completing her undergraduate degree program, she has obtained many positions, which has helped her developed in the women she is today.

She is a delightful young woman who is curious about learning. She is no academic drudge, however. Phoebe has been active in all sorts of activities at the University of Bridgeport, including being a mentor to her college peers through Student Support Services, a former member of both the African Student Association and the Model UN, and also a former member of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic, where she is trained to assist International students fill out their tax returns. Upon completion of her service, she received a certification of appreciation from the IRS for her services to the community.

Her activities outside of school as an undergraduate student include working for J. Crew, interning for Pitney Bowes as a Global Product Manager, and working with the Senate Campaign.

On top of all that, she has managed to finish all her degree requirements in three years and graduated this past May. Phoebe currently holds a position at Pitney Bowes where she serves as a Credit Card Portfolio and Reporting Analyst.

It is rare that a student who has accomplished so much and is, at the same time, such a delightful young woman.
