Pintueli Gajjar

I am a multi-talented, resourceful & a 'free-thinking' woman.

I am passionate about:

Painting

Birds

Bikes

Travel

Writing

Good House-keeping

& a stickler for cleanliness!

Having said all that, I have turned my passion of birds into painting them and am doing a research on the local wetlands and preservation as birding habitats, working with local people and raising awareness on conversation of endemic as well as the many migratory birds.

Currently, I am working on finding solutions to the evasive plant species, the Water Hyacinth and its eradication, that is infesting the water-bodies.

As an educationist and an environmentalist, I conduct workshops on Wildlife Conservation in collaboration with the Gujarat Forest Department and the Rajkot Zoological Park, Rajkot (India)

As a biker and a travel-buff, I have been on rides, spreading awareness on pollution along the coastal belt, lecturing in schools and colleges.

Being health conscious, I grow some vegetables at home in my micro-garden space and have ideas to expand it to my back-yard and the terrace.

As a stickler for cleanliness, I encourage people to stop littering the environment, teach crafts made from recycled material found around the house and am involved in certain on-going craft projects in and around my home.
