An accomplished physician, Dr. Pradeep Ghia has more than four decades experience practicing medicine. He graduated from the Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India, and subsequently completed an internship in medicine at the institution. Following his relocation to the United States, he spent time as a resident in psychiatry at Hahnemann Hospital, an intern and resident in medicine at Easton Hospital, and finally a fellow in cardiology at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Pradeep Ghia also earned an internal medicine certification, along with a cardiovascular disease certification, from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Following the completion of his postdoctoral training, Dr. Ghia went into practice for himself. Over the course of 32 years, he worked as an invasive cardiologist and was the president and administrator of a group of four cardiologists. At his practice, he and his colleagues implanted pacemakers, performed coronary angioplasties, and performed stress tests. Dr. Pradeep Ghia was particularly skilled in managing congestive heart failure and heart attacks. He was invited to present a paper about stratifying patients at high risk of heart attack through low-level stress testing at a meeting of the American College of Cardiology. While leading his practice, he also served as active staff at both Easton Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital. In mid-2016, he retired from private practice.
