John Hennessy

I am a passionate and committed entrepreneur, business leader and educator, I have a wealth of business experience that I wish to share with students, entrepreneurs and business builders.

I have expertise and experience to sell, market, build, staff and finance: projects, complex business systems and emerging technologies in both private and public sectors across multiple industries at home and abroad.

I have brought to contract over $300 million of products, services and systems, and franchises. I have extensive experience with Intellectual Property; patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs.

I am a talented leader, business developer and marketer who recognizes and understands the value of emerging technologies with the rare ability to communicate and convert that value for organizations.

In the past, I have been at the forefront of many emerging technologies and today I focus on capturing and commercializing business value for companies.

I also have a small consultancy where I train, coach and consult to people, organizations and companies on how to leverage and extract value.

Most recently, I have found a new passion for teaching at the School of Business for Algonquin College. I teach Global Business, Marketing, Social Media and Digital Communications. I have also had the privilege of teaching Global Business in China at a college two semesters.
