Thank you very much for your interest in my website! I am a Professor of Urology affiliated with the University of Bonn in Germany. I have lived and worked in the United Arab Emirates since 2003. In addition to the complete spectrum of urology, my specialist interests include neuro-urology, female urology and pediatric urology particularly focusing on urinary incontinence and lower urinary tract dysfunction as well as the key diagnostic tool of (video-) urodynamics. I have a wide variety of surgical know-how. During the last 20 years living abroad, I have had the chance to gain significant international experience in addition to furthering my established medical background. My experience is a combination of medical expertise, management, knowledge of different health care markets and media relations. My academic background offers expertise with teaching programs and scientific presentations as well as organization of scientific meetings. I have a wealth of knowledge of management and coordination of research teams, research studies and advanced clinical trials. My participation in international guidelines committees along with my medical experience have established my scientific reputation in the field of urology. During my time in Abu Dhabi I was holding the position as Head of Urology Department in Zayed Military Hospital, Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital Airport Road and Healthpoint Hospital (Mubadala Healthcare).
