? uest

Toronto, Ontario (Canada)

Born and raised in the ethinically diverse city of Toronto, to Caribbean immigrants, '?uest' (quest) found himself writing poetry at the age of 16. His first recognised poem was 'Our M.I.C.' (Message in Conception); which focused on living in a priority neighbourhood during the mid to late 1990s. He went on to write many more poems that focused on life in Toronto's priority neighbourhoods. These poems however, were never released to the general public until the release of his first book; "Twin Sentiments of Man", a collection of his poems.

?uest, was also featured in, "The Great Black North", the first African Canadian Poetry anthology. His poem, "Historically, Present Ghosts", allowed him to earn his feature in the anthology, as well as perform it at 'The Black Canadian Studies Association' conference, entitled, "Where are you from?Reclaiming the Black Presence in Canada" with keynote speaker, Michäelle Jean.

?uest is currently working on his second publication, entitled, "Artistic Pre-Script", which focuses on love and relationships. The release date is still TBD. In the meantime, his sophmore book of collected poems, "Twin Sentiments of Man", can be found and purchased on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google Books and Xlibris.
