Quentin C. Krog
Supervising Producer in Johannesburg, South Africa
I'm a husband to Dominique — my wife of sixteen years and my greatest collaborator — and a father to four God-fearing kids who keep me grounded, honest and humbled daily.
My personal journey has been anything but straightforward. I grew up a Christian in South Africa, always sensing that something was missing — until my family discovered that my "Catholic" grandfather had been quietly hiding a very Jewish secret his entire life. That revelation sent me down a rabbit hole I never want to climb out of. A decade later, the Torah and Messianic Judaism has become the lens through which I see everything — including story.
And story is my trade. Twenty-two years in the South African film and television industry — director, screenwriter, editor, producer — four feature films, close to a hundred television episodes, and an unshakeable conviction that narrative is the most powerful vehicle for truth ever invented.
These days I serve as a Commissioning Editor (Supervising Producer) at Multichoice SA, bridging the world of network television and the creative community.
But my greatest ambition has always been to point these skills at something that truly matters — and I'm not done figuring out exactly what that looks like yet.
