My birth name is Johann but my friends like to call make Rudie. Throughout my youth including in school, I have always had a deep love and admiration for the dramatic arts. I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Johannesburg and completing my degree in B Ed Senior Phase and FET Teaching, I am now in my third year. My first major of study is English ( I enjoy reading and writing) and my second is Historical Studies due to my love for global History including my obsession with the French and Russian Revolutions. I want to teach to inspire and in hopes that I can leave the future in the hands of a generation that I can trust will not repeat the mistakes of the past and lead our precious world into an era of peace and love.

However, aside from all that I am genuinely someone that enjoys the outdoors with cycling, hiking and swimming in particular but mostly I do it to just to be surrounded by nature. I am passionate when it comes to caring for animals and my opinion, dogs really are man's best friend. Don't get me wrong though, I love to be around people to and to be honest I dont where or who I would be without my family and friends. I hope I can teach my students to value the world they live in and the people in their lives.

I may not be perfect but none of us really are and although life may be hard, if it was easy then what point would there really be in ever living out our lives. This is the one lesson that I want my future learners to keep in mind as well.
