Tan Vi

I am a senior at Virginia Tech studying Food Science and Technology. Born and raised in Southeast Asia, I was exposed to some of the best cultural cuisine. Now, with the opportunity to attend the best university in the nation when it comes to food, I want to turn my passion into a career. My interest led me to an internship with Hillshire Brands and a management role at one of the university’s dining facilities, where I procured a more active role in ensuring product safety. I want to advertise quality and innovation, both as a scientist and an inspired foodie.
