Randy Martin

Born in Laramie WY Grew up in Cheyenne WY graduated from East High School. Married high school sweetheart Kay Vondy in '76. Bachelor degree in Electronics 1978, commissioned 2Lt through Air Force ROTC at University of Wyoming then to Navigator/Electronics Warfare Officer training and off to fly B-52 Bomber missions out of Grand Forks AFB North Dakota. Medically grounded for migraine headaches in 1984. Operations research and analysis with mathematical modelling and simulation of high technology weapon systems. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1990 fought medical ouster as captain until promoted to Major and qualified for full retirement ---except they changed the retirement rules that year just before my retirement and gave me a "medical retirement and I don't get any credit for my 16 years served. I just get my "disability pay" compensating me for my "service connected" MS disability from the VA. Kay and I are committed Christians attending a Presbyterian church in Albuquerque NM. We have three grown kids, 2 married nurses and a soon to be married Fireman/Paramedic. Nurse one has 3 kids, Kay's an elementary music teacher.
