Raanan Liebermann

While working towards his D.Phil. from the University of Oxford, Raanan Liebermann explained an enigmatic pulsar radio emission observation appearing to present inconsistency that had previously perplexed the scientific community. Over the course of his career in product research and development, he has authored articles on a number of technological topics. Raanan Liebermann also holds nine product patents, and has developed many more products that are patent pending, where at least one is already officially approved for issue. For the past 19 years, Raanan Liebermann has served as president of Signtel in North Haven, Connecticut. Under Dr. Liebermann’s leadership, Signtel has created variety of products to assist individuals with significant hearing and/or sight challenges. These products include a sign language e-book, a navigating and communication-facilitating e-cane, a URL window expander to facilitate online searches and Internet access, and a voice-recognition (VR) signal interpreter that can translate both spoken and written words into sign language
