Rachelle Jackson
User Experience Design in Atlanta, Georgia
I am a marketer with over eight years of experience who loves aha moments and figuring out what makes consumers tick. I am currently the Research Project Manager at the Center for Excellence in Brand and Customer Management at Georgia State University. My expertise is in marketing-by-numbers – figuring out the who, what, when, where, why, and how of marketing based on the measurable indicators and outcomes.
As the rare Atlanta native, I am proud to call myself a Georgia Peach and a Georgia Bulldawg. I received my Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Kennesaw State University and my Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Georgia. With my background in marketing research and project management, I have developed a keen understanding of the implications of branding, consumer insights, and innovation in driving strategic planning. My professional memberships include the American Marketing Association, the National Sales Network, and Levo League.
I am actively involved in the community and love giving back by volunteering and supporting causes that empower others, especially young girls. One of my most recent volunteer experiences was serving as a Cookie University Professor for the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta to teach the Cadette and Ambassador aged girls the fundamentals of marketing. I am also a member of several young professional organizations in the city including the Urban League and the United Way.
Some of my favorite things include traveling, getting lost in music (especially live music), enjoying good food with awesome company, dark chocolate, and all things animal print.
