Ragunathan Ragu

My name is Ragunathan also known as Ragu by my close comrades, and my nickname is Kanan (right hand).

I had some hard and bad times in my early days that had taught me there is no easy way for success it's always a struggle.

I worked for the Malay Mail Publication as a compositor in 1957 at the time of Malaya's Independence and in the early 60's the Straits Times Publication took over the Malay Mail. Then in 1974 I joined the marketing department of New Straits Times as an executive and worked my way up as a Manager in 1985.

I resigned in 1993 and joined the Sun Publication as a pioneer and help develop the publication.

In 1998 after my contract was over with the Sun Publication, I started my own Advertising company known as Column Advertising.

Today I'm embarking on a new venture to write biographies on my new website "columnlife.com" As I saw a dire need to bring to the forefront the captains of industries who propel the SME's in Malaysia and in the Asean region. My aim is to provide them with greater exposure as I found it to be lacking by the print media.

Not to be left out is the ordinary man on the street who has a story to tell of his or her's heartache, failures, struggles and successes.

My vision is to be a catalyst that brings this stories to you in a very profound and exciting way.
