Rainbow Day Care

The owners and staff members of Chicago, Illinois' Rainbow School Day Care remain committed to providing preschool and kindergarten children with a positive foundation for a lifetime of learning. Equipped with over 15 years of experience in teaching at the university level, the founders of Rainbow School Day Care have volunteered in several Chicago-area after school and literacy programs.

While in the loving care of the staff at Rainbow School Day Care, children receive a superior education in a safe and supportive environment. The school teaches a developmentally appropriate curriculum and provides students with health, nutrition, and social services. At Rainbow School Day Care, children receive three nutritious meals daily, reinforced by the USDA and the Illinois State Board of Education.

To promote a strong and rewarding educational experience for children, Chicago's Rainbow School Day Care includes parents in their children’s daily activities by involving them in the assessments and decisions made regarding the daily curriculum. By the time they graduate, 20 to 30 percent of Rainbow School Day Care's kindergartners learn to read and write; the other students develop sufficient proficiency to begin the process. Many of the students who attend Rainbow School Day Care qualify to enter magnet schools and schools for gifted children in the Chicago area upon graduation.
