The owner, president, and CEO of the San Antonio, Texas, marketing firm Rainman Creative, Rainey Threadgill has established and managed companies in a variety of fields. Rainey Threadgill is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics.
He embarked on his career as an employee of the Worldview Systems Corporation, a business that ultimately evolved to become Travelocity.com. Threadgill subsequently founded the Fredericksburg, Texas-based foreign currency exchange company Travel Currency, Inc. Under his management, Travel Currency converted legal tender and performed wire transfers throughout the United States and Canada.
Rainey Threadgill also has owned and operated West End Pizza Company, a successful restaurant, and the Vintage Cellar, a popular wine tasting room. He recently has become an active advocate of Texas tourism, promoting the benefits of Texas Hill Country as a travel destination through his Explore Texas Hill Country website.
