I am first of all a loving husband, a "cat" daddy, a fan of old cars, a passionate hotellier and I do have the dream of the ONE hotel where I find my "home" & sowith a home for its guests - because my passion is to be a perfect host.

Who I am: My name is Raúl & I was born in Germany but grew up in the beautiful Colombia where beautiful people are around you every day & "yes" you are right, I am a real fan of Colombia with its breathtaking views from the mountains, the flavoursome coffee, the phantastic coasts with its little fishing villages & green glimmering water & the smell of fresh eucalyptus.After my study of economics at the University of Bógota I went back to Germany to learn about hotels & my passion, other cultures & about people.

Steps between in my career were the Queens Moat House ( Front Office Manager, Head Accountant - 1994-2000 ), Achat Hotels ( General Manager ), Park Plaza Trier ( General Manager ), Cuba Viejo Lounge & Restaurant ( Owner ), Valbusenda*****Hotel Resort & Spa ( General Manager ), Bohemia Suites & Spa***** ( General Manager ).Healthouse Las Dunas ***** GL Health and Beach Spa (General Manager) The last three stations were in Spain & Canary Islands to open the beautiful Resort of Valbusenda [http://www.valbusenda.com] with its winery & Healthouse Las Dunas (www.healthouse-naturhouse.com) a luxury longevity Center dedicated to Health through ecological and organical food pared with medical consultations and tailormade programs, all that with a really great CEO who supported me in even the craziest projects and my dream to offer a "timeless" stay for our guests.What I love: honest people, simpleness even in luxury, exciting tasks with great teams who really care about what they do, respect for each other.

What I like to do: I just like to live in harmony with my beloved once around me, my job and to discover every day something new.
