My name is Rebecca Cintron. I have lived in San Antonio my whole life and I am currently in my last year of high school. I have recently begun to find myself through my volunteer work with animals and special needs children as well as through coaching.

Since I was a young girl, I have been involved in the sport of gymnastics. At the start of high school I decided to explore other activities, but no other sport gave me the same satisfaction, guiding me back to gymnastics. Instead of competing and practicing full time, I now coach gymnastics to children. It is very fulfilling to be able to pass on my knowledge to young athletes while attempting to make the learning fun for them.

A few times a month, I find time to volunteer at the local humane society and go spend time with the kids in the ALE room at school. It is such a great feeling forming a relationship with the kids and the animals even though I am not able to be around them everyday.

Whenever I am not at work, church, the humane society, or completing assignments, I like to catch up on some sleep, but most of the time I get distracted by my favorite show, The Office. And that basically sums up my life. (:
