2006 offered me so much more than the turmoil of my teenage years. One night, as I sobbed in an Ingles parking lot, my husband of two years spoke to me about Jesus for the first time in our marriage. God’s self revelation that night broke through my veils of depression and hopelessness and set me on a journey marked by love and contemplation. The seven years since have been devoted to learning everything about the divine. In that time I’ve been able to complete a B.A. in Religious Studies and an M.Div from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology while also serving communities from Costa Rica to the Philippines to my own Navajo reservation. I love to think about the deepest questions of faith, spirituality, personhood, social consciousness, and how to live holistically in what often feels like a dualistic world. I warmly welcome you to journey with me in developing deeper practices of contemplation and loving and knowing. and unknowing.
