Since graduating college five years ago, I have spend a large amount of time at work, chronically stressed and very unfulfilled. This journey has lead to me quit my job in advertising in order to go back to school for my masters in Social-Organizational Psychology. I always knew I wanted to help people function at their highest potential, but it wasn't until 2 years ago that I realized how I could make this happen.
Over the next two years, I will be seeking to learn more about:
- The Glass Ceiling
- Stereotype Threat and How it impacts Organizations
- The Quantities Value of Diversity
- Closing the Gender Gap in the Workplace
I plan to go a lot of coffee dates with professionals in all aspects of the field, read thousands of pages in research, and intern at as many firms as possible so I can be fully equipped to enter the market as an impactful professional.
Who knows what I'll find or where I will end up!
