Richard Bojanowski

First and foremost I relish a challenge or a hard problem to solve. The more intricate and deep the problem the more attractive it is to me. Difficult problems have drawn me into entrepreneurship.

I co-founded Cerrio, LLC, a technology firm focused on bring real-time technology to the masses. Before that I co-founded OptionsHouse, an online broker/dealer focused on equity options. I love building financial models one day and thinking through marketing, pricing and advertising strategy the next.

And I am passionate about education. As a board member of the Academy for Global Citizenship I have been given the unique opportunity to help children in an under-served community receive a unparalleled and whloistic education possible while changing the public school system for the better.

Whenever possible, I love to be outdoors. Backpacking through the wilderness of Alaska, skiing in Colorado, summiting a mountain, hiking Machu Picchu, dog sledding in the Yukon or diving a Caribbean reef are among my recent adventures.

But I’m a Chicagoan through and through. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, I attended the University of Chicago and graduated with honors in Economics. I followed my BA with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
