A sales and marketing professional possessing decades of experience, Richard Farrant is currently President of Green Energy Barrier, an attic insulation company based in Hickory, NC. Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the thriving company, Richard Farrant is a hands-on leader who not only manages sales representatives and lead logs but also installs products as needed. An accounting major at William Paterson University, Richard Farrant has held several positions in sales and marketing during his career. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing of Long Fence and Home in Fairfax, Virginia. Facilitating all daily tasks, which included managing staff, dispatching, and setting sales and marketing goals with the company owners, Richard Farrant also excelled in direct sales on top of his other responsibilities and earned the Salesman of the Month award 22 times during his time with the company. Prior to his position with Long Fence and Home, Farrant was General Manager at AAPCO, a home improvement company in Richmond, Virginia. Managing the marketing and sales departments, he earned the Salesman of the Year award three years in a row.

A devoted family man who has been married for 12 years, Farrant enjoys quality time with his wife and son and spends the majority of his downtime coaching his son’s 13U travel baseball team, the Hickory Thunder. In addition to coaching the team, Farrant pays all costs for team members who couldn’t otherwise afford the uniforms and equipment. Additionally, Farrant enjoys traveling with his family and watching professional sporting events in New York City, including Yankees, Giants, and Knicks games.
