Richard Hunt Guitar Tuition

Musician and Teacher in Bristol, United Kingdom

Richard Hunt is a passionate musician and dedicated teacher who inspires the next generation of learners through fun, engaging, and contemporary guitar lessons. He believes that when students can play a piece of music they recognise -whether simplified or not - they become instantly motivated and invested in their learning journey.

Richard studied at the renowned Academy of Contemporary Music, where he studied alongside talented artists such as Ed Sheeran and Newton Faulkner. His time there deepened his musical knowledge and broadened his creative outlook, drawing inspiration from both tutors and fellow musicians.

After graduating, Richard launched his own private guitar teaching business. Through strong relationships and word-of-mouth recommendations, he built a thriving network of students. He now co-runs redMUSIC, a music tuition company providing exciting and accessible lessons in schools across South Gloucestershire.

Richard also serves as the Session Manager for the Bristol franchise of The Rock Project, coordinating sessions and supporting young people as they learn to play in a band setting - a highlight for many budding musicians.

In addition to his own ventures, Richard has taught in a range of educational environments, including full-class music lessons with the child-development company SuperStars, and continues to bring his energy and expertise to a wide variety of musical contexts.

Outside of teaching, Richard performs as part of an acoustic duo and enjoys playing regular gigs at local venues, sharing his passion for live music with the wider community.
