Richard Kaplan Chicago
Richard Kaplan founded Syndicated Equities in Chicago, Illinois, nearly three decades ago. He continues to oversee all business operations at the real estate investment firm as the company's president and chief executive officer. During his time with Syndicated Equities, Richard Kaplan has gained experienced with both national and Chicago real estate markets, and has participated in more than $3 billion worth of property transactions. His real estate experience includes work on residential properties, condominium and apartment developments, and global real estate opportunity funds.
Mr. Kaplan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Illinois. Outside of his work with Syndicated Equities, he involves himself in a range of civic and community activities. An active member of the Standard Club of Chicago, he served as president of the organization between 1994 and 1996. His other civic and industry appointments include membership on the board of directors at Cole Taylor Bank and serving as a varsity tennis coach at Francis W. Parker School.
